Scott MacDonald DVM

Dr. MacDonald is a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University. He studied at the Nova Scotia Agriculture College and obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College, an AVMA-Accredited school in Prince Edward Island, Canada. He is a recipient of the American College of Veterinary Radiology Senior Student Award “in recognition of outstanding achievement and enthusiasm in veterinary radiology” and has a special interest in diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, and oncology.  Dr. MacDonald was elected to and served on the Dayton Emergency Veterinary Clinic Medical Board as vice-president, president, and past president for many years. Dr. MacDonald enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Maimon, two young children, canine blood donor, Calypso, woodworking, cooking, and hiking.
